[Maine-birds] RB Grosbeaks; YB Sapsucker

First pair of RB Grosbeaks caught me with my feeders down, but they seemed content to nibble suet while I hurried to refill and replace. Fairly certain we had a female stop by a couple of weeks ago, but had no other sightings until this a.m.

We have one very active YB Sapsucker who loves trying to drill into all the wrong surfaces, especially metal. Can always tell when he's around!

A couple of sparrow couples (WT and ?) seem to be making nests in the wild raspberry by our propane tank. Maybe we'll soon see some fledglings emerge. Otherwise, the only fledglings we've seen have been RB Nuthatch and Pine Siskins (long gone now). Sure there must be phoebes and finches nesting about, but have had my focus on weeds in the veggies more than birds lately.
