Yesterday, RBWO was a pleasant surprise yard bird before I left home.
Later in the afternoon, driving the beautiful winding roads between Deer Isle and Orland (through Penobscot Village), sparrows were flushing up from the road edges by the dozens, seemingly at every turn. Hundreds total. Many of them were Juncos.
