There was a Fox Sparrow in the upper orchard at Green Point WMA, Route 128, Dresden, late this morning. Eight or nine American Tree Sparrows were also present, although in other Green Point locations. There was no sign of yesterday's pipits.
A single American Coot and a single drake Common Goldeneye were with as many as 200 Ring-necked Ducks and two Pied-billed Grebes late this afternoon at the Dresden Bog (Earle R. Kelley WMA), off the Bog Road in Dresden.
An Osprey flew over while I was looking at the ducks. A Pileated Woodpecker and several Golden-crowned Kinglets were in the neighborhood.
