Started at Dunstan's Landing where i got my FOY Great Egret. A Bald Eagle flew over being harassed by a Herring Gull. Also a TV, several Black Duycks, Mallards and Geese and 4 GW Teals. From there I headed to Pelreco for my FOY Snowy Egret, 6 Gadwall, and a Great Egret. A pair of Bufflehead and some RB-Mergansers were in the marsh on the opposite side of Pine Point Rd. A male northern harrier surprised me today as I stepped out of my truck to go for one of my walks around Deerings pond in Kittery Point. [Maine-birds] Wonderland and Ship Harbor trails on MDI, Acadia National Park

A loop of these two trails and the shoreline in between, this morning in fine spring weather. Nothing rare to report. Black Guillemots are transitioning their plumage, and some are all the way there. A highest-ever personal count of gulls for me in inner Ship Harbor was 220, about 30 of which were Great Black-backs.
