[Maine-birds] not a bird, not a plane....

Around 2 pm I photographed a sizeable brown bat in St George near the well-known natural spring on RTE 131. The animal was actively hunting 10-20 feet above the ground. Although it seems a bit early in the season, the warm afternoon temps apparently drew this fellow out for a midday lunch.
