Weather:
A clear start to the morning, with partly to mostly cloudy skies for the
rest of the day. The wind started the day from the northeast, swinging
around to end the day north-northwest. Temperatures rose to the mid-40s.
Raptor Observations:
A slower morning with a trickle of Red-tailed Hawks and Turkey Vultures.
More birds on the move in the afternoon. A Red-shouldered Hawk, possibly
the same as yesterday's, hung around Little Bradbury.
Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptor migrants:
Mallard- 3
Canada Goose- 23
Waterbird sp.- 150
American Crow- 3
Common Redpoll- 1
Predictions:
Partly cloudy skies in the morning, with increasing cloud cover and a
chance of rain showers in the afternoon. The wind will be blowing out of
the northwest at 5-10mph. Temperatures will be in the low 40s. Hopefully
today's afternoon push of migrants will carry over to tomorrow before any
rain comes in.
