[Maine-birds] Flooded fields, etc.

Nice variety of shorebirds incl a solo juv Pectoral Sand were foraging in the mud, grass, and puddles on the field facetiously known as "Lake Biette" in Brunswick this morning.  Made me wonder how many other poor drainage fields were pulling in shorebirds today after the torrents.

The Buffalo Ranch (Bath) wasn't one of them. Drainage problems on the lower field there have been rectified, and it may no longer provide the great hab for migrant shorebirds.
