Got a quick bit of birding in today between rain showers at Hills Beach. Good numbers of shorebirds continue on the Basket Island sandbar. Highlights were two American Golden Plovers, 13 Red Knots, 33 White-rumped Sandpipers, 2 Whimbrel, the continuing Marbled Godwit and an early Dunlin. Also had my FOS Tennessee Warbler.
