[Maine-birds] Androscoggin County Duckage, 4/6

Hi all,
Phil McCormack and I birded up and down the Androscoggin River today between Durham and Auburn, then over to Sabattus.

No luck on the Redhead at the Sabattus outlet or elsewhere nearby.

The highlight of a fairly birdy day were the flooded farm fields along Rte 136 in Durham:
- 2 immature SNOW GEESE
- 273 WOOD DUCKS!!!!
- 4 American Wigeon
- 10 Northern Pintails
- 14 Ring-necked Ducks
- 18 Green-winged Teal

And impressive numbers of Mallards, American Black Ducks, and Canada Geese.

-Derek
