Two photos of probably the same bird. First taken (DSC_0002 crop) on 2-25-2014 at about 2 pm and the second (DSC_0406-Crop) today 4-4-2014 at 2:15 pm. I think I saw two of these birds together about two weeks ago in the same area. By the time I got my camera, they were gone up river along the Goghan Rd towards Clinton.
Today's photo is only one of many using my tripod for stability. The bird circled and climbed out of sight without flapping a wing.
ID? Age? Male or Female?
