At 3:30 pm there were a pair of GWTE in the wet area beside the entrance road to the field complex in south portland off highland avenue - as I slowed down to take their picture thru the car window they took off - as expected - not tame like the ones I photographed this morning in mill creek park. About twenty mallards were also dabbling in that same wet area.
