[Maine-birds] MACHIAS SEAL ISLAND REPORT

We received only light traffic overnight.

WHITE THROATED SPARROWS & SAVANNAH SPARROWS seem, to be the species of note.

The Alcids came ashore last evening on the North East section of the island. That's 2 days after the rest of the island.
It's an interesting phenomenon. That section acts like a distinctly seperate colony. Some years they have landed a week and more later than the older main colony. There's also some seperation on the water.
