[Maine-birds] Mackworth Island

This morning at Mackworth Island in Falmouth, I enjoyed a nice walk and about 30 species of birds.  Approximately 400 Common Eiders were the predominant birds of the day, and quite vocal.  What appeared to be a juvenile Mockingbird was a surprise--could they have nested already?  Another surprise was a vocal Fish Crow near the parking lot, though it flew off the island eventually, heading toward the mainland.  A woodcock was heard but not seen.
