[Maine-birds] Piping Plovers etc

First three Piping Plovers of the season at Popham Beach.  Foraging w/ a very pale basic Dunlin. 
Also a lingering Snow Bunting. 
Solo Tree Swallow at Fort Popham.

An Osprey has arrived at the nest overhanging a trampoline & jungle gym in West Bath, and a male B Kingfisher in Phippsburg, over the alewife ladder.  It occurs to me that none of us found an overwintering kingfisher this year.

The pond behind Loew's is half thawed: Ring-necked ducks and Hooded Mergansers there today.
