[Maine-birds] Sunday in Augusta and Sidney

On the way to Augusta I had a turkey vulture, my second in as many days.

Once in Augusta, I had a few free minutes to head down to Waterfront Park to see tree swallows hawking over the river (hopefully catching something), common mergansers, and a dc cormorant, my FOY.

On the way home a kestrel was perched on the wire on the Lyons Road in Sidney.

Earlier this week I had a phoebe at the Goodhue Farm. Can't remember if I posted that or not. Hoping my phoebe and tree swallows hold off for a while -- still mostly snow covered out here.
