Re: [Maine-birds] Is this a Lincoln's Sparrow? Monhegan

Just got back from Texas, where I saw tons of Lincoln's Sparrow, and though it's not easy to tell from a single photo, I'd say this is not a Lincoln's. As J. Stormer said, the streaks are not fine enough (and extend too far onto the breast and belly) and there's no buffy wash under those streaks. Still, I too could easily be wrong, but it doesn't look like the Lincolns I saw in Texas. Song Sparrow?
