IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
If visiting Jordan Farm, located on Wells Road in Cape Elizabeth, please be very respectful as this is a working farm. The landowners are aware of this bird and the interest it will generate. Only park in the parking lot for their farm stand or directly across the street near the gravel and loam piles. They are not selling the gravel/loam right now but will be in a few days, at which point parking on that side of the street should be avoided.
The bird was found this evening in the fields directly below this parking area. DO NOT WALK INTO THE FIELDS. There is adequate viewing from the road and parking area.
I cannot express enough how everyone should be respectful of the landowners wishes. Please.
Good birding,
Doug Hitchcox
