Red-throated Loon: 1 in winter plumage
Common Loon: Many, all plumages
Double-crested Cormorant: Abundant, large nesting colony on Schoodic I.
Common Eider: Small numbers along entire route
Black Scoter: 22 off Schoodic Pt.
Bald Eagle: 1 on Sheep Porcupine I. nest, 1 on Schoodic I. nest
Herring Gull: Common
Great Black-backed Gull: Common
Laughing Gull: several off Petit Manan I. and Egg Rock.
Common Tern: only about 20 at Petit Manan, some carrying fish
Arctic Tern: heard but not seen at Petit Manan
Razorbill: 10+ at Petit Manan, 1 off Schoodic Pt.
Black Guillemot: Common along entire route
Atlantic Puffin: 35-40 all at Petit Manan I. on water and flying to the island.
