[Maine-birds] Weskeag and Owls Head

The morning rains reopened some of the marsh pools and pannes this morning. A great blue heron and 20+ ring-billed gulls scouting the open water. A flock of 5 persistent eastern bluebirds frequents two small fruited trees adjacent to the paved parking area on a daily basis, five white-tailed deer that eluded hunters in the back marsh. At Owls Head harbor, a 1st-cycle Iceland and 2nd-cycle Glaucous at the lobster impoundments. No black-headed gulls yet this season.
