[Maine-birds] Must be a Caspian Day

Barbara and I saw a single black-capped, red-billed adult fly down SW Seawall Beach about 3:30 this afternoon. No other terns.

Also of interest:

3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 2 bright legged adults and 1 juv.
1 dullish juv Baird's Sandpiper
1 Pectoral S.
3 White-rumped,
and a pile of juv Sanderlings, 370 or so.
