Hello ,
 
Ice is breaking up around the Island and frozen Ponds are beginning to show signs of opening as well.   Will have some intense birding soon. Canada Geese at Northeast Creek. Sounds like Anatidae are on the move along with everyone else. The earth is finally pointing in a warmer and positive manner.   While the winter birding was fantastic this year , I'll not be sad to let that pass for another year.

6 species of ducks yesterday:
1 male Bufflehead
3 Hooded Mergs  (2 males)
9 Ring-Necked 9 (8 males)
3 N Pintails (2 males) tho' I expect the 2nd female was around just couldn't confirm 2 at 1 time
Hundreds Mallards & Blacks
