[Maine-birds] Monhegan Island, 5/25-28 (ACFL, RNDU, PUMA, WEVI, OROR, NRWS, etc).

Hi all,
 
Paul Doiron, Kristen Lindquist, Luke Seitz, Jeannette, and I birded Monhegan Island from Saturday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon.  Paul and Luke departed on Monday afternoon while Laura Kennedy joined us for most of Tuesday.  We ended up with 119 species, including 22 species of warblers.
 
Highlights from our group for the four days were as follows:
5/25:
- 1 drake Long-tailed Duck in the harbor
- 3 PURPLE MARTINS
- 1 Blue Grosbeak (Luke only)
 
5/26:
- 1 immature male ORCHARD ORIOLE
- 1 ACADIAN FLYCATCHER, Fish Beach.  Apparently found on 5/25, confirmed by Doug Hitchcox on 5/26.  Observed through late afternoon.  4TH ISLAND RECORD. Photos.
- 1 drake RING-NECKED DUCK, Town Marsh.  Found by Jeannette.  3RD ISLAND RECORD.  Photos.  And my 200th Monhegan Bird!
- 1 Purple Martin continued.
- 1 Blue Grosbeak (Jeannette only).
- 2 Mourning Warblers
- 1 Bank Swallow
- 1 Evening Grosbeak
- 1 Cape May Warbler (Luke only).
- 98 total species
 
5/27:
- 1 WHITE-EYED VIREO
-   1 immature male ORCHARD ORIOLE continued.
- 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
-  1 House Finch
-  1 Bank Swallow continued. 
-  1 Common Nighthawk
-  3 American Woodcocks
-  95 total species
 
5/28:
-  1 NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW (my 201st Monhegan Bird!).
-  1 immature male ORCHARD ORIOLE continued.
-  2 Razorbills and 1-2 Arctic Terns (up to 3 miles off southern point)
-  1 Black-billed Cuckoo
-  1 Cape May Warbler
-  1 Hairy Woodpecker
-  25+ Least Flycatchers
-  1 Atlantic Puffin, just off Nigh Duck as we departed.
