Re: [Maine-birds] Pledge to Fledge Call to Action

It is actually a huge and pleasurable part of my real meat job
that I have near daily opportunities to showcase bird sightings to
folks who might ordinarily not even notice bird activity. I'm by NO
MEANS any definitive resource, but I am invested in the wonderment.

And then, OTOH, I can be totally mesmerized at my own home by a UFO
who stooped on a full sized crow not 50 feet from my front
doorstep. My eyes aren't the best, and the mayhem was confusing,
there was no victor or obvious victim and both birds flew from the
scene. My best impression was that the UFO was heavily mottled
slate-blue and white, and that every crow for miles around must have
engaged on scene.

Investing some energy in curiosity invests in encouraging
knowledge. I do pledge 2 Fledge.
