[Maine-birds] Belfast Bay census of Jan. 23, 2015

Gary Gulezian and I had a pleasant and interesting morning collecting our data.  Red-throated Loon and Horned Grebe reappeared on our species after not showing during the last census.  The highlight of the morning were the sightings of three Northern Pintails: 2 males and 1 female.   The males were seen about 1/4 miles upstream from the footbridge across Belfast Harbor in the company of Mallards.  The female was seen near the mouth of the Little River also in the company of Mallards.
