[Maine-birds] Shrike – yes Fuller Farm Broadturn Rd. Scarborough

I got the northern shrike but not the red shouldered hawk. The shrike was sitting at the very top of the very tallest tree in the back of the field.

The adult Red-shouldered Hawk first reported by Marian Zimmerman on Wed. was there again this morning.  I stopped by briefly at 10:00 and again at 12:30 and saw it both times from the parking lot.  At 12:30 it caught something and sat on a hay bale to consume it, then flew off to the back of the field.  I was there yesterday morning and walked around for 1.5 hour and did not see it or the Shrike but did see a Red-tailed Hawk.
