[Maine-birds] Monhegan, 9.1.19

We picked up some shorebirds out here yesterday: Greater Yellowlegs and some shiny new Least and Semipalmated Sandpipers feeding in Lobster Cove.

Also found a handful of warblers, including a couple of drab female Cape Mays. Other songbirds included several Least Flycatchers, a small flock of Cedar Waxwings, and a Red-eyed Vireo. Yes, one.

Some of the Double-crested Cormorants appear to still be on nests. The only raptor was a Merlin fly-over.
