An interesting morning over coffee - peripheral vision saw something
with a long tail flash by - a male and five female Ring-Necked
Pheasants. Then a bobbing flash of white on the edge of the cove - a
mature Bald Eagle chowing down on a bird - feathers flying; then out
of the woods the usual three Wild Turkeys had increased to 17 males
browsing at the wood and cove edge. Yesterday a juvenile Red-Winged
Blackbird and right now a flock of 20 or so Common Grackles among the
usual yard birds, including the large flock of Pine Siskins.
