In other birding news, a very odd, possibly leusistic Red-necked Grebe was hanging out off the jetty at Camp Ellis today, in the company of a few normal Red-necked Grebes. It was otherwise identical in structure and size, but very pale overall. Also seen were increasing numbers of all three scoter species, 3 Horned Grebes, over 100 Tree Swallows and a good collection of shorebirds on the jetty, including a few Red Knots, 4 or 5 Dunlin and a American Golden Plover. Good Birding
