[Maine-birds] Phippsburg assorted, osprey

Phippsburg, Maine Map 6 Totman Cove

Just had a male osprey fly through, moving south to north along shore, low flying. Not actively fishing, but did appear to be looking. It's getting very worthy of mention to see them here, still. ? Last of year? This should make Vickery smile.
Pine siskins reported yesterday persist in droves. Filling feeders every 2 days to keep up with their demands.
Double digits  of DC corms massing together, assumed to be ready to migrate. Wing drying looking like inverted bats on the rocks
White winged scoters, group of 5 showed up yesterday and have stayed, a winter phenom in here
With them, a natty little Horned grebe

You can tell the weeds aren't growing as fast and it's raining, so I'm back in the reporting saddle.
