Comments: The cruise ship Jewel of the Sea and a gfroup of folks that walked just before the rain came. Thick fog but with some excellent views in the scope of several birds and the amazing shoreline of the eastern coast of MDI.

Comments: The cruise ship Aida Aura for an "Ocean Trail Hike" from Sand Beach to Otter Cliffs. This day was accented by a large migration of NORTHERN GANNET. Plunge diving into the waters just off off the Ocean Drive and Otter Point, NOGA were an excellent addition to a foggy day.

Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus) 125 Mostly adults with some juveniles some plunge diving the close to the shore where we could easily observe the diving process. This could be the largest number of NOGA I have ever seen directly along the Eastern shore. We certainly see NOGA here but todays numbers where high.

Common Eider (Somateria mollissima) 900 numbers have dramatically increased with the heavy winds from this last storm. Everyone hunkered down in the narrows.
