Late this afternoon, my son and I birded Capisic Pond and it was so slow that we were both about to fall asleep when two Red-Winged Blackbirds began singing briefly. Nice to hear, it seemed like a long time since I've heard that song. Thought it was March for a second.
Two new yard birds today including Blackpoll Warbler (at least 5!) and surprisingly my first Palm Warbler in the yard.
