[Maine-birds] Red Bellied Woodpecker Cape Neddick

Delighted to see the RB Woodpecker at the suet feeder today around 1:30pm. I haven't seen my Song Sparrow for a few days - its been here all winter. Who knew? Plenty of the regular visitors to the feeders - RB and WB Nuthatches, Snowy and Downy WPs, Chickadees, Tufted Titmouse, Cardinals, MDoves, Crows were here today, Juncos flitting around playing and zooming in and out of the brush piles we made last Autumn, Blue Jays getting to be regulars and vocal.  Wild turkeys were last here at the last snowfall. Flock of Towhees at Meadowmere Motel Route One Ogunquit; Robins on the Sumac end of my road (west of turnpike behind Ogunquit), and a beauty of a Red Tail Hawk flying right over the turnpike bridge that's about a mile from Rte 1 Ogunquit.

I'm still not 100% sure I saw a Sharp-shinned in the trees in Plaisted Field along the turnpike spur road in York last week. I took several pix with my phone camera and blowing them up on the computer still only revealed beautiful bright rufus color on the chest, and that tuxedo blue-gray above. I didn't see much of a neck and that's the only reason I can go with a Sharpie not a Coopers. Couldn't see much of the tail hanging past the branch due to lighting. I strained to see the legs but I didn't have my regular binocs with me - just the small pair I keep in the glove compartment.
