[Maine-birds] Bird ID challenge, two live birds, one scattered feathers?

Hello,

 

        Went out on my wild goose chase to find a rare goose in the Berwick's 

 

    At Knight's Pond in Berwick I digiscoped two ducks on the far side of the pond.  What do you think?

    Than at Tuckahoe Turf Farm waiting for the geese to come in just before sunset I found these feathers.  What do you think they are?  The feathers where in an area of 3-4 foot Dia.
