[Maine-birds] Eastern Rd pannes still crankin'

I arrived at the Eastern Rd pannes at the Scarborough Marsh this afternoon just after 1:00 pm and there are still a mess of shorebirds out there. Most of the Dunlin took off after a Peregrine made a low pass through the back of the pannes, but I had a chance to attempt a careful count before hand and came up with 379 Dunlin, 7 Long-Billed Dowitchers all seen together eventually, 2 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 2 Semipalmated Plovers, 4 Greater Yellowlegs, 2 Black-Bellied Plovers, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers, 1 Wilson's Snipe, and 8 White-Rumped Sandpipers. When the Dunlin were all together there were some out of view behind clumps of grass so my count may be a little low, but I bet I missed some WRSA's in there as well assuming their numbers haven't changed much from a few days ago. My scope eye was watering the whole time so I'm sure I overlooked some feeding and roosting between Dunlin. I also suspect that there are way more PESA's around than what I encountered hiding in the spartina grass.

Sadly, I think I found remains of the 8th LDBO.
