Highlights of a gray and wet walk on Fernalds Neck Preserve today included:

Red-necked Grebe - 1 in cove beyond Balance Rock; first one I've ever seen on Megunticook Lake

Bufflehead - 2 also in cove

Hermit Thrush - 1

Am. Robin - 30 +

Pileated Woodpecker - 1
