[Maine-birds] Green Point WMA, Pleasant Pond Richmond

Birds of interest at Green Point WMA in Dresden this afternoon:
20 Wood Ducks, mostly male
2 Bluebirds
1 Hermit Thrush
1 Golden-crowned Kinglet
6 Green-winged Teal
2 Buffleheads
1 Kingfisher
20 Ring-necked Ducks
Also, Common Mergansers, Double-Crested Cormorant, Canada Geese, phoebes, lots of variable song-sparrow songs.

Thorofare Rd., Pleasant Pond Richmond:
2 Buffleheads
1 Common Loon, full summer colors
15 Common Goldeneyes, males doing the head-bobbing dance
Also, Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers, Ring-necked Ducks, Red-winged Blackbirds, 

Not many ducks at Pleasant Pond and Rte 197...may have had something to do with the jet ski out there.
