RE: [Maine-birds] 12 Woodcock- Buffalo Ranch, Apr 9, 2014

Okay, Wilson's snipe it is, or they were, as it were. And, while I beg for mercy, I won't make any snipe jokes. Deal? Sure was a passel of 'em. What is the term for a flock of snipe? Seriously. Thanks everybody for the corrections. And, the damage has been repaired in eBird. RRR

Hi Robin,

Really cool shot of the birds. They are snipe (not woodcock), which I guess you meant. If you can fix that in the eBird list, it would be great.

Thanks so much,

Louis

There were likely more birds than I could see. <a href="http://www.robinrobinsonmaine.com/OTHER-AND-MISCELLANEOUS/EBird/20888035_sMnHPp#!i=3170343835&k=V9XwDtj&lb=1&s=A" title="Woodcock, there were 11 that I could count in the spring flooded pasture, The Buffalo Ranch, North Bsth, Maine, Aprile 9, 2014.
