Ellsworth, Maine’s, Stanwood Wildlife Sanctuary, better known to many as Birdsacre, suffered a fire in their main building on 02 March. Ellsworth’s art deco cinema, The Grand, is doing a weekend of films as a benefit for Birdsacre 16-18 May:
Friday, 16 May, 7:00 p.m. Alfred Hitchock’s The Birds
Saturday, 17 May, 11:00 a.m. Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, with a special presentation of live owls before the film
Sunday, 18 May, 2:00 a.m. A Birder’s Guide to Everything
