On the Spurwink Marsh........several RSTs shuffling about in our longer grass. Still have between 30-40 glossy ibis feeding around the lawn, the orioles have increased to five (and the grape jelly runs out twice a day!) and the bluebirds are nesting, keeping very strict watch and shifts over their nest box.
The five (indoor) cats are really enjoying their nature channel (sunroom). They content themselves with beating up their Star Wars mice, favoring Chewbacca and Vader and then entertained us with a surprise visit from a real mouse. Five cats going after one tiny mouse......taking turns carrying it around until my husband could catch it with an oven mitt.
