[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 4/26-5/2

Hi all,

 

Not a lot to report this week, but a handful of observations of note for me in the past seven days included:

- 75+ Long-tailed Ducks and 200+ Surf Scoters, Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park, Freeport, 4/27 (Feathers Over Freeport).

- 300+ Black Scoters, East Point, Biddeford Pool, 4/29 (with Katrina Fenton).

- 1 pair Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Biddeford Pool neighborhood, 4/29 (with Katrina Fenton).

- 100+ Yellow-rumped Warblers, 20+ Palm Warblers, etc, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 5/2.

1 Laughing Gull, East Point, 4/29 (with Katrina Fenton).

1 House Wren, Biddeford Pool neighborhood, 4/29 (with Katrina Fenton).

2-3 Black-crowned Herons, Great Pond, Biddeford Pool, 4/29 (with Katrina Fenton).

1 Northern Waterthrush, Florida Lake Park, 5/2.

1 Black-throated Green Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/2.

2 Chimney Swifts, Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 5/2.

2 Eastern Kingbirds, Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 5/2.
