[Maine-birds] Goshawk - Franklin, ME

Franklin, ME Hancock Co.

Yesterday as I was observing a Redpoll (that MAY have been a Hoary
Redpoll) a Northern Goshawk tore through the yard. The birds on the
feeder scattered. About 15 minutes later they slowly returned and
resumed feeding. I have not seen the Redpoll since. Goshawk food? I
think so.

At the feeder I currently have
6 Goldfinches
2 Tufted Titmice
2 White-breasted Nuthatches
Many Black-capped Chickadees
