[Maine-birds] Feeder birds in South Portland today

A pair of Red-bellied Woodpeckers and B Orioles were frequent visitors all day.
I put  my suet in a log and hang it at a 45* angle - the Orioles have not figured out how to hover feed from it like most of the other regular non-woodpecker yard birds do so I have not seen them on my suet - yet that is.  They may learn tho - as most of the other regular birds have!
My reason for hanging it that way is that it slows down the Starlings and other birds that would clean in out too fast in an open wire container.
I offer apple jelly (the favorite for our family and the birds seem to like it as well).
Lately a  male Rose-breasted Grosbeak visits often as well as a pair of Bluebirds.
I observed 15 species within an hour and a half this forenoon.  Great activity today.
