[Maine-birds] predator and prey

Hi,

Some motorist on RTE 17 in Rockland this early morning must have gotten a dramatic wakeup call.  Their car struck and killed two birds simultaneously: a great horned owl still holding a captured crow in its talons. The two birds lay permanently joined together on the pavement.
