[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week and Goose Fields Update, 10/14-20

Hi all,
Just a few observations of note over the past seven days included:
- 24 Black-bellied Plovers, 3 Greater Yellowlegs, 17 Dunlin, 1 Peregrine Falcon, etc, Wolfe's Neck Farm, Freeport, 10/14 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 7 Semipalmated Plovers and 2 Black-bellied Plovers, Crescent Beach State Park, Cape Elizabeth, 10/17.
 - 11 Red-throated Loons, 1 Bufflehead (FOF), 4 Horned Grebes, etc, Simpson's Point, Brunswick, 10/20.
- 4 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 1 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER, 53 Black-bellied Plovers, 18 Dunlin, 6 Greater Yellowlegs, 26 Laughing Gulls, etc, Wharton Point, Brunswick, 10/20.

In the goose fields, I have not encountered, nor heard of reports, the juvenile Snow Goose this week. My high count of Canada Geese was 875 on 10/16 (with Don Mairs).
