Hi folks,
-- This morning, a Palm Warbler in nonbreeding plumage bumped up against the office window next to my cubicle at work; it was a light bump and he flew over into a red maple and began to chow down on insects. I find these guys one of the easiest "confusing fall warblers" to ID.
He was energetic and fine, glad to say, but he was all alone. He'd better catch up with his pals on their way south!
