[Maine-birds] Shorebirds at Petit Manan

Today I hiked all the way down to the end of Petit Manan Point.   Between Chair Pond to the tip of the Point I observed 3 Black-bellied Plover,  135+ Semi-palmated Plover, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs,  15+ Red Knots, 38+ Sanderlings,  8 Semi-palmated Sandpipers, 5 Pectoral Sandpipers (this was at the tip of the Point) and 35+ Dunlin. At Big Pond I saw a Pied-billed Grebe.

On the ocean I saw  50+ Red-necked Grebes,  30+ Horned Grebes and lots of Black Scoters (scoters were all males).
