[Maine-birds] Clay-colored Sparrow Big Sit Falmouth

We had a Clay-colored Sparrow at our Big Sit site at Maine Audubon's Gilsland Farm in Falmouth all day on Oct. 7.  We also has Lincoln, White-crowned, Swamp, Savanah, White-throated, and many Song Sparrows.

Raptors were good with Peregrines, Merlin, Sharp-shinned, Red-tailed and Cooper's Hawks, Bald Eagles and Northern Harrier.

The Big Sit site is in the North Meadow right by the river.  We left the feeders up so you will know where the site is.  The sparrows were on the trail by the thistle and sunflower feeders. Over 30 people stopped by and about 12 stayed for several hours.
