[Maine-birds] peculiar mix Phippsburg

Phippsburg Maine Map 6
Totman Cove
Lobster Cove
Sprague Marsh, north end
Hidden Ledges Road
Center Pond

38 species all together, and none of them while i was looking for anything, just seeing what was about as I was up to other things. I won't list them all  as most were what one would expect. However,
Of note, odd ball late kids and things I wouldn't expect to see on the same day all within five miles of each other:
Greater yellow legs, four of them in stunning, late afternoon light, as only fall provides
Belted Kingfisher, male fishing in same place and very chatty
Cedar Wax 46 or better
Northern Parula feeding on same suet as oranged crowned wab but not at the same time
Orange Crowned warb as mentioned earlier this morning
Raven, one
Turkey vultures 3 tilting east of Small Point
White-winged crossbills about 3 dozen on Hidden Legdges Rd eating seeds from atop spruce trees
My own personal forever flock of Pine siskins, still between 40-50 birds at any given time in my yard. Sigh.
