[Maine-birds] Acadian Flycatcher, etc.-Monhegan, 5.25-5.26.13

My husband Paul Doiron and Derek and Jeanette Lovitch and I came out to Monhegan yesterday afternoon, met up with Luke Seitz out here. Despite the rain, drizzle, fog, and now a chilly wind, we've been finding some interesting things, including:

Ring-necked Duck-1 in the Meadow, an island first for all of us, today
Green Heron-1 by the Ice Pond today
Virginia Rail-1 in the Meadow, seen by Derek and Jeannette, Sat.
Semipalmated Sandpiper-1 Fish Beach, Sat.
Red-necked Phalarope-20 seen from boat in passage yesterday
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher-1 at Fish Beach
ACADIAN FLYCATCHER-1 at Fish Beach, very visible at very close range today
Philadelphia Vireo-1 by Tribler Cottage
PURPLE MARTIN-3 over harbor Sat., over Meadow today, another island first
Carolina Wren-several, including 1 with fledglings spotted by Derek and Jeannette
House Wren-FOS for me
Swainson's Thrush-3-4 today
American Pipit-3 Fish Beach
Tennessee Warbler-2
MOURNING WARBLER-2 by the library
Wilson's Warbler-2-3
Canada Warbler-several, most recently in the horseshoe pit of the Trailing Yew
(17 warblers total, plus Luke saw Bay-breasted and Cape May today)
Scarlet Tanager-1 seen by Luke on Wharf Rd.
Lincoln's Sparrow-3
Swamp Sparrow-2
Singing White-Crowned Sparrows continue, though fewer than last weekend
Indigo Bunting-4, 2 pairs at Tom Martin's feeders
ORCHARD ORIOLE-1-2, singing 1st yr male
Pine Siskin-5+
Evening Grosbeak-1 heard

Going back out soon, wanted to post while I could keep it all straight.
