[Maine-birds] Brunswick to West Bath - Misc

Surprised to come across a flock of 18 E Meadowlarks at the extreme So end of the runway at the Brunswick Executive Airport this morning, some outside, some inside the fence. Eventually all arrived inside the fence. Also nearby, 8 E Bluebirds.

A small pond near us (West Bath), which I call Rockweed Pond, always has a few ducks on it, it seems, but around noon, there 4 No. Pintails, 8 Woodies, close to 100 Black Ducks, and 136 Mallards, along with several mutts. Mid-day, the sun is directly opposite the spot where one has clear view of the whole pond. Best to view it on a cloudy day. Bears keeping an eye on this pond thru the fall and winter.
